On April 23, 2025, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Azerbaijan, Mr. Issam bin Saleh Al-Juteyli, visited OKİ Hospital in the Gusar district as part of his official trip.

As part of his visit, the esteemed guest first met with the Head of the Gusar District Executive Authority, Mr. Sahir Mammadkhanov. During the meeting, the Executive Head spoke about the development of friendly and cooperative relations between Saudi Arabia and Azerbaijan, and provided the ambassador with detailed information about the district's history, geographical location, tourism potential, and its socio-political and economic life. The sides also exchanged views on prospects for cooperation and strengthening of business ties between the two countries.

Within the framework of the visit, Ambassador Issam bin Saleh Al-Juteyli also visited OKİ Hospital. He became closely acquainted with the modern infrastructure of the district's healthcare institutions, the conditions created for patients, and the quality of medical services provided. The ambassador praised the level of healthcare development in Gusar and expressed his gratitude for the warm reception.
